Angel Food Cake

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 40 minutes

Ready In: 50 minutes

Supplies:

  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 whisk or electronic mixer
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 10 inch tube pan
  • 1 oven

Ingredients:

  • 12 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Measure 1 1/2 cups egg whites and put it in the mixing bowl. Let it stand 30 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Beat all the ingredients together until it is smooth.
  3. Gently spoon everything into an ungreased 10 inch tube pan and bake it at 350 degrees Farenheit (175 degrees Celsius) for 40 minutes or until it springs back when lightly touched. Allow it to cool.
